All bedrooms have black-out curtains with Harris Tweed furnishings and high quality 100% cotton sheets. All the bedding is hypoallergenic (duvets are "all season" double layered). The main bathroom upstairs has an over-shower bath and under-floor heating. There is an extendable dining table in the living room (no separate dining room), and there is also an extendable table in the porch, where you can just sit, relax and watch the sea-eagles from the window. In common with most cottages of that period and style, the ceilings are low in places, so please mind your head, especially when climbing the stairs! There is ample parking and a large fenced garden area with outdoor seating and a BBQ for guests to use. The multi-fuel stove and under-floor heating add a cosy feel to the cottage for relaxed evenings in. There is easy to manage electric heating throughout the cottage. There is Wi-Fi for guests to use, and also Freesat satellite channels on TVs in the living room and master bedroom. An i-pod docking station/radio/CD and DVD player is available at the cottage . The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you will need for your stay, including washing machine, dishwasher, oven fridge freezer, microwave and refrigerated wine cooler. Guests can also access the Hay Loft (the upstairs area of the barn. This is ideal for walkers and cyclists to store and dry items. The cottage itself is only a short 5-10 min walk from Meanish Pier, so it is easily accessible for those who like to go boating or fishing.
