About this apartment rental
Our recently refurbished privately owned two bedroom apartment (in L'Archeboc) in the quiet village of Charmetogger is set over two floors in a magnificent location in Arcs 1800. Ideally located for winter ski or summer mountain holidays - only 150m from the high capacity Transarc Express lift which takes you to all of the Arcs and La Plagne (via the Vanoise express). Ski on glaciers, explore extensive off-piste, cruise the 425km piste area through tree lined valleys and dramatic high mountains. There is an amazing recently built swimming and gym complex (La Piscine) for the Arcs 1800 resort with indoor / outdoor pool and gym which is a ten minute walk from the apartment. There is a a gorgeous bakery and deli just 5 minutes walk away. Supermarkets, bowling alley and restaurants are a 10 minute walk away in Villards. We have refurbished the apartment with new flooring/lino, hob, two fridges and a wall mounted Smart TV with DVD. There is excellent free WIFI. Great selection of games for all the family. We do not however provide bed linen or cleaning at the end as part of the rental. There are two options 1) Guests can bring their own bed linen - sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers, and fully clean the apartment at the end of their stay ready for the next guests. 2) We can arrange for both bed linen and cleaning at the end of stay to be provided. Costs are 30 euros per bed, 10 euros per towel, and cleaning 80 euros.

Good to have 3 beds. Staircase a little narrow and steep though, even for me (I am quite small). We found it more convenient to get the shuttle from Villards. The new ski pass office is great! And we loved the good at Cabane des Neiges (dinner) and the Popote (lunch)

Excellent séjour dans cet appartement à 5 adultes. C’est l’idéal car pas besoin d’utiliser le canapé lit. Mais possible aussi à 7. Literies très confortables. Espace à manger spacieux. Dommage que l’exposition soit plein nord, le balcon ne voit jamais le soleil en cette saison. Quelques éléments supplémentaires de cuisine seraient appréciables (plat à gratin pour le four, appareil à fondue…)

Bien situé, avec un équipement à minima. Obligé de refaire la vaisselle (dont certains verres cassés) dotation vaisselle trop réduite pour 6 personnes.

The apartment was situated within 3 minutes walk of the main Transarc lift in Arc1800. We found a route to ski back on the first day, due to excellent conditions this easter. There are two good sized bedrooms on a mezzanine floor, sleeping five persons or even six if one minds sleeping on a mattress on the floor. There is further bedding downstairs on a pull out sofa, but we did not use this. The apartment has the basics required for a weeks ski holiday; dishwasher, cooking facilities and small refrigerator. Couple the great location of this apartment with a fantastic resort (Arc1800) and you have the perfect accommodation. Trevor, the owner is very amenable and approachable. Great communication. We look forward to returning in 2019!
