About this apartment rental
In the heart of the city of Bologna, a few steps from the beautiful park of Giardini Margherita, the apartment is on the ground floor of a characteristic 1930s building located in a quiet interior, in the shade of holm oaks and palm trees, with a large courtyard and a small flowery garden enjoys a particularly pleasant cool climate in summer, favored by the historic house and the position at the foot of the Bolognese hills.
The studio is well-kept and furnished with style with a Boffi kitchenette, a comfortable and new double bed, walk-in closet, bathroom with shower and all the comforts for a pleasant holiday and the rest breaks that the excursions require.
The position is strategic to reach on foot all the most interesting cultural destinations of the city, in ten minutes on foot, through the scenic via Castiglione with the magnificent arcades, you will reach the Two Towers Garisenda and Asinelli; from Viale XII Giugno, under the shade of the scented lime trees in late spring, passing in front of the Church of San Domenico, you will reach Piazza Maggiore, the beating heart of the city and the exclusive and elegant Galleria Cavour; the various Alma Mater offices and the Municipal Theater are near and comfortable.
A few steps from the house, a large paid car park, the bus stop with lines that take and come from various destinations including the Central Train Station, from the Station take the direct bus line to the Guglielmo Marconi airport.
On the adjacent via Castiglione, the best ice cream shop in the city, an excellent pastry shop, as well as several restaurants, famous taverns, wine bars and small clubs and also a well-stocked market open 24 hours a day.
Our family lives in the building and will be happy to meet, advise and support the welcome guests.
In the hills near Marzabotto, we are the owners of an agricultural estate where we rent apartments and, among other activities, we produce natural wine that you will find as a welcome gift, in the Bologna studio.

Great easy informative check in. Roberto provided us with directions , suggestions and a map of Bologna. Great location. Within 10 - 15 mins walk you are in the centre of the city. There is a delicious pasticceria nearby, Roberto’s recommendation. Many places to eat nearby also. Spacious, warm , comfortable accommodation. Pretty courtyard. A kitchenette with some great basic condiments and a moka pot ( cafeteria) and coffee, tea etc. Would recommend. We stayed 4 nights. Dec 2025

We were warmly welcomed on arrival. The studio is small and we had not appreciated that it is really a bed-sitting room. We visited in November and were cold in the studio in spite of the owner adjusting radiators. It is well-equipped but mugs & plates could do with being updated and replaced.
