About this apartment rental
In Tuscan countryside 15 minutes from Florence very independent apartment finely restored and furnished on two levels. On the first floor there are 2 double bedrooms, 1 smaller room/studio and 2 bathrooms, both with shower, one of wich with bathtub. Living,dining, kitchen and wc are on the ground floor that opens on an exclusive garden. The access from the main road as well as the car park are independent. The large shared pool(meters 15.50 X 7.00 X 1.25 ) surrounded by vegetation and not visible from the house is open from June 1st. to September 28th.Personal transportation is advised.

It sits on top of a hill overlooking the Valle del Mugnone, a gorgeous valley that offers panoramic views of gently slopping hills cultivated with well-tended olive groves as well as views of the town of Fiesole and the city of Florence. Giovanni Boccaccio in his 13th Century Decameron, locates some of his stories in this valley.

Very nice and big appartment/house in a quiet an very nice area. A good and quiet pool which you share with few people. Very easy to get to Florence with train, takes only 15 min.
The host showed us around when we arrived and him and his family were very sweet and helpful throughout our stay.
We can highly renommend this place.

Dank Klimaanlage und Pool der Hitze immer den entscheidenden Schritt voraud. Herrlich in der Natur. Und mit der S-Bahn supergünstig in 11 Minuten in der Innenstadt. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, ein guter Supermarkt ist 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Ein Wanderweg geht quer über das Gelände und eignet sich zum Joggen und Walken in den frühen Morgenstunden. Für uns war es das ideale Quartier.

Christine B. Wer Ruhe und Natur liebt ist hier genau richtig, und das vor den Toren der großen Renaissancestadt Florenz. Die Weitläufigkeit des Grundstückes bietet immer wieder etwas zu entdecken in Flora und Faune, etwa verschiedene Vogelarten oder kaum scheue Rehböcke. Zu Fuß kann man das Anwesen in verschiedene Richtungen verlassen und möglichst mit Hilfe einer Wander-App Spaziergänge oder Wanderungen anschließen. Das Anwesen besitzt drei Ferienwohnungen, die aber weit genug voneinander entfernt liegen, so dass man mit den anderen Feriengästen nicht konfrontiert ist. Der Pool, der Tag und Nacht benutzt werden darf, bietet aufgrund seiner Größe und Abgeschiedenheit ein reines Vergnügen. Besonders liebenswürdig, aber auch diskret ist die Vermieterfamilie, der das Wohl ihrer Gäste sichtlich ein Anliegen ist, was sich in der Gepflegtheit der Innen- und Außenbereiche zeigt; die aber auch jederzeit für Fragen ihrer Gäste zur Verfügung steht. Die Wohnung hat eine sehr schöne Aufteilung; besonders gut durchdacht und komfortabel sind die beiden Bäder im Obergeschoss und die Toilette in Küchennähe. Man fühlt sich schnell wie zu Hause. Gerne in einem anderen Jahr wieder!

Wir können uns den anderen Bewertungen nur anschließen: selten haben wir einen so schönen Familienurlaub verlebt wie hier. Die Ferienwohnung ist wunderschön, sehr persönlich und komfortabel eingerichtet, es ist alles da, was man sich nur wünschen kann. Gute Betten, Klimaanlage, Fliegengitter, Spül- und Waschmaschine, Wifi, ausreichend Liege- und Sitzplätze drinnen und draußen, alles sehr sauber, Coop-Supermarkt unten im Ort (5 Minuten Fahrtzeit). Insgesamt gibt es nur 3 Wohnungen, alles ist sehr ruhig, man ist auf dem weitläufigen Anwesen unter sich. Grillen zirpen auf dem Gang zum nicht einsehbaren Pool, es ist still und unglaublich erholsam. Die Vermieterfamilie ist reizend, freundlich, hilfsbereit. Wir hatten viel mehr Besichtigungen geplant, die wir auf ein Minimum zusammengestrichen haben, weil wir gar nicht weg wollten. Dabei liegt Florenz quasi vor der Haustür (Auto bis Caldine, dort gratis parken und dann 15 Minuten für 1,50 Euro mit der Bahn) und auch alle anderen Orte in der Toskana sind gut erreichbar. Lediglich die letzten steilen Meter den Berg hoch erfordern etwas bessere Nerven. Mietwagen ist auf jeden Fall erforderlich; schattige Parkplätze am Haus.
