The view from the deck and main bedroom was lovely and the staff managing the property were excellent- very helpful and lovely.
The house was comfortable enough but is in need of some TLC, particularly given the cost per night. I've stayed in places on Bruny that offer way better value for money and comfort. The house is literally on the main road to the lighthouse and the dust kicks up into the air, a lot and we had to time when we were out on the deck (which was poorly appointed and maintained I'm afraid). The second bedroom is a shoebox and looks onto the road - the cars/trucks on the gravel road started very early!
Also no internet provided at all - I appreciate service can be slow in places on the Island but none at all is unusual these days.
