About this apartment rental
General info
The apartment is located in Mets, one of the nicest neighborhoods in the city center of Athens. It is less than 10 mins walking from the Acropolis Museum, Metro Station and Plaka. Less than 5 mins walking distance from the Kalimarmaro Panathenaic Stadium (finish line of the Marathon). It is located across the Zapeio and national garden. Around 15 mins walk from Syntagma square.
It is a modern, fully renovated apartment and has a very cozy balcony.
Cleanliness has always been set at very high standards in our apartment and we continue doing a great job following all hygiene rules. As well, please note that we leave 2-3 days between bookings so we give the time for thorough cleaning between different guests.
About this apartment:
The apartment is fully renovated and provides a luxurious stay to the guests. It is 70 square meters so guests can move comfortably in all rooms. It was renovated with lots of care and love to create a modern place for any guest to feel special, during his/her stay.
Upon request on booking, this place can comfortably sleep one more guest (total 3 guests) with the use of a comfortable single airbed (1 meter width) which has the height of a normal single bed. The airbed can be either set in the bedroom or in the living room depending on the guests needs.

Communication with our guests
Myself and my husband will do our best to help our guests feel as comfortable as possible in the apartment. We are always at our guests availability to answer any questions related to the apartment itself and/or the general area of the city center. We provide our guests with maps and city guides and also suggest to them places they can visit with nice food or great coffee places!
The neighborhood:
The specific neighborhood where the apartment is located is very nice and safe yet very lively with a variety of restaurants, coffee shops and bars in the area. It is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city with great neoclassical houses and nice pedestrian streets where guests can walk through and get a sense of the old city center of Athens, and the culture around it. In very close proximity (2 minutes walk) from the apartment, there is a small super market, a traditional grocery store, a traditional bakery and one of the greatest coffee places in the city.
Please note that, as the apartment is located in the city center, during the weekend nights it may be noisier than during the week days.
Access:
All public means of transportation are very close to the the apartment location. Buses and the tram stops are no more than 2 mins walk as well, the Acropolis metro station is no more than 8 mins walk from the apartment. The X95 bus, which comes from the airport, ends up in syntagma square which is around 15 mins walking distance from the apartment.
From the airport, you may very easily take either the train/metro or the X95 bus to reach the apartment area (or you may also take a taxi if you prefer).

We arrived in Athena the day before the shut down of the city beacause of the Coronavirus .
Rena the owner, was just great with us . We were suppose to stay 15 days in Athena but we had to leave Greece 9 days later and come back in Canada in emergency because the airports were closing down In all the country’s .Rena the owner, offer us reimbursement without asking and she was really exceptionnal and helpfull .
She help us getting a flight out of Greece and she was more efficient than our gvnmts. During our stay she gave us good recommandations on what to do and see in the neighborhood and in the city .
We highly recommended this appartement very clean, fully equipped and close to everything. You are in good hands with Rena.

Een prachtig appartement met een voortreffelijke gastvrouw (Rena). Op loopafstand van het centrum en heerlijk rustig bij t appartement zelf. Dichtbij touristengebied, maar ook dichtbij genieten van gewone Griekse buurt met gezellig eet en drinkgelegenheid. Top dus!

Nice sized modern apartment with full living room, kitchen and bedroom closets within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. It even has a small washing machine and drying rack.
Rena was so sweet and patient with our questions. She left us home made cookies and fresh fruit. Rena and her apartment deserve 6 stars.
