About this cottage rental
Refined and elegant farmhouse, restored with exposed chestnut beams and local stone, in the Tiber Valley, with private swimming pool for guests only. Excellently furnished interiors, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, equipped kitchen open onto the living room with sofa, table and TV. Outside a large and beautiful well-kept garden with centuries-old oaks, collectible English flowers and roses, with a 6 x 12 meters swimming pool for exclusive use. Ideal location for visiting Central Italy. Rome can be reached by train in 45 minutes. Orte Scalo station at 14 minutes.

We arrived at Casale Eredita after 3 hectic days in Rome, looking for a somewhere to relax. I have to say, we found the perfect place. The house is very comfortable. 3 large bedrooms, each with its own en-suite shower room, kitchen and living area, terrace, all right next to the swimming pool and set in a lovely garden. All is kept very clean and in good order. You will see the love invested in the house, the decorations, the garden, everything. When you meet the owner, you will understand why. A warmhearted kind person, Giacinta has put her soul into this place. We would come back any time. Enjoy your stay as much as we did.

We had the pleasure to spend our holiday at Casale Eredita - a beautifull and clean house, with all the luxury and equipment you need on a holiday. Our two daughters loved the pool (also when dark, looking at the stars - even saw a shooting star), the cats, the wifi (of course!) and we could take them to nice places in the neigherhood. To get to Rome by train was a 'piece of cake' (we went twice). Giacintha is a warm host, loves to tell you about Italy and brought us delicious marmelade, tiramisu and pasta sauce. Don't forget the milk, tomatoes and beer at our arrival :-). And last but not least; we are very greatfull Giacintha and her husband build a ramp for our youngest daughter so she could easily get in en out the house in her wheelchair by her self. Thank you! We had a great time in Italy!

We just came back after a trip to the center of Italy. We went on a family trip with four grown up kids (19 - 26), and stayed for a week in Casale Eredità. Giacinta is a lovely host, and she really made us feel welcome. The house is situated in the country side, approx. 10 minutes by car to Orte. Orte is a sleepy medieval town with a lot of charm. From this area it is easy to take daytrips to ex. Viterbo, Siena, Arezzo or Rome by car or train. We also wanted a relaxing holiday by the pool, with good food, wine and gelati - and we got exacetly what we came for! Thank you Giacinta for your welcomming cake and home made pesto, and for sharing your tips and local knowledge with us! We miss It all ready <3

We stayed at Casale Eridita from July 25 to August 7, 2023 and had an excellent vacation. The property is set like a small oasis in the heart of farmland close to Orte. Giacinta is an attentive, accommodating, dynamic and generous host with whom we had the pleasure of chatting on several occasions (she and her partner also live in the oasis). We were treated to a few delicacies, including an unforgettable tiramisu. And lots of useful advice to help us direct our visits. The house is very comfortable, clean and very cool (we were dreading the hot July/August weather). We were two couples with one child each. Giacinta offered to replace the double bed in the yellow room with two single beds, which delighted the little ones. The pool is treated without the use of chlorine, so the water was soft and odorless. Another little plus that the children would like to highlight is the company of Tag the dog and Griffe and Mimino the cats. Very friendly animals ; ).
The location of Casale Eridita is great. We were able to explore several places on day trips: Lake Bolsena, Amelia, Rome, Orvieto, Perugia, Cascata delle Marmore, Viterbo. We allowed ourselves a short two-day excursion to visit Florence and San Gimignano.
Within a very short distance, we recommend a visit to the Lase winery, Gelateria Girotti in Amelia and the Orte subterrains.
