L'appartamento è molto bello e la zona è spettacolare, dal punto di vista artistico e naturalistico. Abbiamo viaggiato molto, sia verso la zona costiera, che per i borghi antichi e siamo rimasti incantati dall'enorme bellezza di queste zone.

We as a family of 6 persons ( 4 kids from 14 till 19 years old) stayed here in this lovely house with the appearance of a castle in the beautiful city of Pitigliano. it's only 10 minutes of relaxed walking to the center of this marvelous city. We did some great hiking tours over the mountains to Sovana and the old Vie Cave. We also visited the following great spots of Saturnia, Sorano, Civitate di Bagnoreggio, Bolsena, Porto Santo Stefano. etc. The owners were very friendly and showed a great sense of hospitality to us. The house has a great appearance and is very spacious. I highly recommend this place.

Im Mai 2018 haben wir (2 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder, 1Hund) 14 wundervolle Tage im Haus der Familie Boscaglia verbracht. Die Wohnung im 2. Stock des Hauses (mit separatem Zugang im Stile einer großen Freitreppe) ist sehr geräumig mit 4 vollwertigen Schlafzimmern und bietet somit ausreichend Platz für 8 Personen. Die Ausstattung ist absolut vollständig, wir haben alles Benötigte vorgefunden (inklusive persönlichem Begrüßungsgeschenk!). Das Haus selbst entspricht absolut der Präsentation und man hat einen wundervollen Blick auf Pitigliano. Auf der Terrasse kann man wunderbar in der Morgensonne frühstücken. Das Grundstück (das ausschließlich von dieser Wohnung zugänglich ist) ist über mehrere Terrassen (Vorsicht mit kleinen Kindern) mit Olivenbäumen und Zypressen angelegt und abgezäunt. Ein Hund kann also nicht entweichen. Das Grundstück grenzt unmittelbar an den "Parco degli Orsini" an, der im 16.Jhdt. angelegt wurde. Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist auf den letzten Metern öfters von den anderen Anwohnern ziemlich zugeparkt, mit einem größeren Auto kann es da manchmal eng werden. Im Haus gibt es kein W-Lan.
Die Vermieter Angela und Ugo sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit, alles lief absolut unkompliziert ab! Ugo spricht gut Deutsch.
Die Lage zur Stadt ist optimal, ruhig, aber man ist trotzdem in wenigen Minuten in Pitigliano. Hier gibt es alle Versorgungmöglichkeiten (Supermärkte etc.).
Persönlich könne wir folgende Empfehlungen geben:
Eine sehr gute Steinofen-Pizzeria "La Terrazza" in der Via Unita d´Italia 40; schön zum draußen sitzen auf der namensgebenden Terrasse. Sehr freundlich und preiswert.
Eine sehr nette Bar "La Mandragola" an der Piazza Petruccioli mit sehr guter Eisdiele und guten Frühstückshörnchen etc.
Eine weitere typische und nette Bar "Il Golosone" in der Via S. Chiara, die vom Haus in die Stadt führt. Hier gibt es leckere Pizza in die Hand (ganztags) und andere Fingerfood.
Für Ausflüge in die Umgebung zu alten Etruskerstätten, nach Orvieto, Viterbo, Saturnia oder zum Bolsenasee ist Pitigliano sehr günstig gelegen (alles höchstens eine Fahrstunde entfernt) und besticht durch seinen noch nicht von Touristenströmen überlaufenen Charme. Wer durch die noch naturbelassene Umgebung wandern möchte folgt am besten den alten etruskischen Felsstrassen, den sog. Via Cavae.

Abbiamo soggiornato presso il castello Boscaglia nella prima settimana di Gennaio. Lo spazio era abbondante per due famiglie di 4 persone ciascuna. La posizione bella e strategica. Pitigliano è un borgo graziosissimo ed è a poca distanza da Orvieto, Orbetello, Siena, ... E' una comodissima base sia per visitare i borghi adiacenti ed altrettanto belli (Manciano, Sorano, Montemerano, ...) sia per godersi un bagno caldo e rilassante alle terme di Saturnia, Sorano, Bagni San Filippo, ecc. A Saturnia e San Filippo bellissime le terme libere. Abbiamo visitato anche le vie Cave, il borgo e la necropoli etrusca di Sovana, il complesso megalitico preistorico di Poggio Rota, il monte Argentario e Orbetello.
La casa davvero singolare: spaziosa, particolare, con il camino comodo e legna a disposizione. Piumoni, coperte, stufa a pellet, cucina fornita di tutto. I proprietari Angela e Ugo gentilissimi e disponibili. Insomma tutto perfetto e rispondente sia alle nostre necessità che a quanto descritto nell'inserzione. Grazie e a presto.
