Large apartment that occupies the majority of an ancient country residence of one of the most noble and famous families of ancient Florence and who to this day still own it. The residence stands on a hill that rises above the surrounding countryside covered in woods, vineyards and olive tree groves. Entering this place is like going back in time, particularly appreciated by those who love ancient atmospheres with paintings, rugs and period furnishings. On the walls there are many hunting trophies that attest to the owners' passion of hunting. Within a radius of 15-20 km you can reach the Natural Park of the Uccellina and the coast with its famous seaside towns, such as Talamone, Porto Ercole, Porto Santo Stefano and Capalbio. This is the land of the Etruscans and even at present day it is worth seeing the small inland towns that testify to this ancient civilization, such as Sovana and Pitigliano, as well as the thermal baths of Saturnia. There is a large garden with an above-the-ground swimming pool (7x3, 1.20 m deep) (31/05-30/09) of exclusive use of the guests and barbecue. A beautiful, shaded pergola that is equipped with table and chairs allows for outdoor dining. On request maid service and baby-bed are available, to be paid for on location. Wi-Fi connection available free of charge. Parking inside the property. PLEASE NOTE: small dogs are allowed upon payment of 100 Euro/animal/week. Arrivals must be between 4.00pm and 7.00 pm.
