About this villa rental
Nestled in an enchanting private pine and oak forest, this very pretty villa is a dream for those wishing to escape the daily grind and have a totally relaxing provencal break. The villa was completely refurbished in 2013 and manages to mix the new with the old: modern on the inside and typically "Provençal" on the outside. The newly built pool (15m x 4.5m) is a modern version of a traditional "bassin" and comes with an innovative filter system to reduce chemicals and a robot that does all the hard cleaning work. Hammocks and sun loungers are provided along with pool towels and a selection of outdoor toys (boules/ badminton). Lavender, thyme and rosemary grow in abundance in the newly landscaped garden and around the enormous terrace. A large outdoor dinning table under the pergola is perfect for al-fresco lunches on the terrace, while an outdoor "sitting room" means that you can spend all your days outside. But what makes Les Fauquieres so special and totally different to any other villa is its stunning forest location. Oaks, pines and poplars grow on ochre land and the forest is the perfect playground for kids wanting to build camps and grown ups wanting to have long walks or bike rides. For those who love antiques we are 40 minutes away from the world famous Isle sur La Sorgue antiques market and there are "brocante" sales weekly in the surrounding villages. We are a 10 minute drive from Apt and its famous Saturday market.

We had the best holiday staying at this beautiful home nestled in the tranquil forest. We stayed with friends and had four kids under 3 and it was the perfect mix of swimming, forest walks and relaxation (despite the kids!). The house was gorgeous and very modern inside. Pierre also kindly helped us organise a babysitter who the kids adored.
We couldn’t recommend this property enough, you won’t be disappointed!

We loved our stay in Pierre & Faiza’s place. Lots of nature around it and absolute privacy making this the perfect place for our families to enjoy the house and the beautiful garden & pool.

This place was amazing, the outdoor space, the pool, the modern kitchen, and the location! Set in the forest, and surrounded by walking trails AND withing a 30 min drives a lots of quaint towns, this home was superb. We hope to return next year!
