'A stone's throw from sperlonga, on the hills of gaeta, far from the noise of traffic, surrounded by greenery among olive groves, cypresses and aromatic herbs stands Villa la Camargue. in the garden surrounding the house, guests can entertain themselves, have an aperitif, relax in the company of a good book or simply lie down and sunbathe. the panorama is breathtaking: the sea, the aurunci mountains, the circeo promontory, terracina and the beautiful pontine islands. a stretch of 10 km of coast between Gaeta and Sperlonga, among the most beautiful of the Italian peninsula, crossed by a coast road of great charm, which connects the seven beaches that Gaeta offers to its guests. the seven beaches are separated by rocky peaks, each characterized by a Genoese tower. up to the splendid cliffs of Monte Orlando and Montagna Spaccata. Serapo beach, Fontania beach, 40 Remi beach, Ariana beach, Arenauta beach, San Vito beach and Sant'Agostino beach. and then ..... the beach of Sperlonga, Capovento, Bazzano, Punta dello Scarpone and Punta Cetarola. The villa, recently renovated, is on two levels: 5 bedrooms, large living room with fireplace, open kitchen, 2 large bathrooms, one with two bathrooms, patio, terrace equipped with outdoor kitchen and barbecue, garden. It is possible to organize events to spend birthdays, graduation parties or new years with your friends

We had a great time at the villa. It is big enough to accommodate all nine of us.
Check-in and check-out processes were smooth.
The main reason booking this house was the listed proximity to the beach. However, the 300 step beach is not close as it is listed at 300 meters. It is about 1.7 km walking down the hill through private area not reachable by car. It is at about 4 km driving distance.
Be aware that two of the bedrooms are pass-through in the basement and might be not very convenient if you have grown up kids or people not relating to each other.
To our surprise , two kittens were wandering in the house yard and were climbing the dinner table while no one's around. I am glad that no one is allergic to cats in our group, but I find we should have been warned about this feature.
All in all we had a great time there.

We were 9 persons, two families. The house is big and very well structured, with enough rooms for at least 11 persons. The living room is great for common activities. I personally liked the three terraces with views to the sea and the mountains, perfect for having a breakfast, drinking a coffee, or bathing in the sun. Also the furniture and the many decorative objects all around and the paintings hanging on the walls create a very cosy athmosphere.
The house was very clean, there were enough towells, dishes, glasses and everything needed for cooking.
A few small things need refurbishment, but generally everything is working. Just you have to be carefull not to overload the electrical installation by using to many electric appliances at the same time.

La casa è molto grande e comoda , piena di possibili posti letto è capace quindi di ospitare anche più di due nuclei familiari. È completamente attrezzata e ha l’aria di essere una casa di famiglia quindi molto accogliente, unica pecca manca una lavastoviglie;è facile da raggiungere- i proprietari sono stati molto cortesi e disponibili. Il giardinetto è molto verde e curato, e la terrazza è enorme con una splendida vista. Il solarium permette di guardare le stelle- sarebbe necessario solo togliere un po’ di materiali di scarto di sistemazione della casa. Grazie di averci permesso di passare una settimana in una casa così bella e comoda! E ovviamente il mare della piana di Sant’Agostino è limpidissimo!
