About this house rental
Make wonderful memories with family and friends! Sleeping up to 10 people in many bed configuations, the 4400 sq ft Mountain View Retreat has 4 bedrooms and 4 big bathrooms, plus a second family room that sleeps 4 on murphy bed and sofa bed. Boasting a very unique combination of convenient location, size, and wonderful amenities -- including new 7- person saline hot tub, sauna, and fireplace and BBQ on a huge deck -- Mountain View Retreat is sure to please the most discriminating of travelers. Please read to the end!
Work remotely from the dedicated office (with mountain views!), with Wifi, built-in U shaped desk, 2 huge monitors, web cam, speakers, printer -- just bring your laptop and you're all set.
Mountain View Retreat is on a flat, wooded, 1 acre lot in coveted Frisco Heights, so you can enjoy peace, privacy and mountain views from nearly every room and be a short stroll to Main St. and the Frisco Marina. The oversized 2+ car garage has plenty of room for SUVs, bikes and other toys and another 4 cars can park in the circular driveway.
KITCHEN IS A CHEF’S DREAM
Mountain View Retreat boasts an amazing chef's kitchen outfitted with slab granite, high-end stainless appliances that include a double oven with warming drawer, gas stove with pop up vent and wet bar with wine fridge. There’s room for everyone to sit and gather. The lovely dining table can seat 10 (with leaf), 4 can perch at the kitchen island and another 2 can perch at the wet bar. The kitchen also boasts many small appliances like a Vitamix, Keurig, waffle maker, mixer, coffee-makers and coffee bean grinder, crockpot, toaster oven, wine and beer glasses, serving platters and so much more you may just eat every meal here!
OUTDOOR AREAS: HOT TUB, HUGE DECK WITH BBQ GRILL & GAS FIREPLACE!
The back deck is a private retreat. Grill tasty meals and dine alfresco at the table for six. Six more can sit around the built-in gas fireplace and roast s'mores under the stars.
Soak in the professionally-maintained new (June 2022) 7-person outdoor saline hot tub after a day of fun, any season. Another table seating 4 plus another 2 bistro chairs are nearby, allowing the entire group to be together near the hot tub.
SLEEP IN COMFORT! 4 BEDROOMS, 4 BATHS + 2nd Family Room that sleeps 4 more
Comfort awaits in the massive master suite, furnished with a plush memory foam bed, a 55” Smart TV, reading chair and separate sitting area with sofa bed and desk. A 3-sided gas fireplace creates added allure. Step out onto the private balcony to take in the mountain views or the stars. A spa-like en-suite bathroom features a luxurious walk-in shower with two rainfall showerheads, dual sinks and a deep soaking tub.
Down the hall from the master suite are 2 other bedrooms (one with 2 twin beds, another with a queen bed) that share a huge bathroom with shower, soaking tub and dual sinks. In addition, there’s a convenient laundry room on this level with high capacity washer and dryer (detergent provided!)
On the entry level -- nicely separated from the bedrooms on the upper level -- is another bedroom with king sleep nmber bed (customizable to your needs), 40” LCD TV and its own bathroom (large shower and 2 sinks).
Finally, the second family room is on its own level and sleeps 4 more: it has a queen murphy bed, new queen sofa sleeper with memory foam mattress and bathroom with shower. The kids can watch movies on the large LCD TV or play on new arcade game console (Pac Man + other games!).
SEVERAL LIVING AREAS: Room to gather or spread out!
Flowing from the kitchen and wet bar is the main family room, complete with massive leather sectional around a 58” TV and cozy gas fireplace. A movie library, board games, puzzles and table seating 4 ensures there’s always fun diversions for the whole crew.
Perfect for kids or those who just want their own space is the second family room downstairs. A huge space with another 48” TV, Pac-Mac/Galaga/DigDig 2-person seated game console, LoveSac bean bag chair, queen sofa bed and queen murphy bed awaits.
Finally, enjoy the 2-person sauna with built-in stereo in the mirrored home gym, with a smart TV, treadmill and elliptical machine.
WONDERFULLY CENTRAL LOCATION:
GREAT LOCATION A SHORT WALK TO MAIN ST (.7 mi), Frisco Marina, restaurants, and Whole Foods! Unlike homes in the Reserve, which might be as large, we are much closer to Main St. and not close to I-70. Check the location of places before you book! Main St is about an 8 min walk through a lovely park with creek.
BONUS AMENITIES:
Mountain View Retreat would serve you well for long stays! Separate home office with built-in desks, monitor and printer along with mountain views! Radiant floor heating in much of the home too! In the summer, ask about borrowing inflatable SUPs and Kayak for two! Like nearly all homes in Summit County, there is no air conditioning as it’s not needed given the elevation. Enjoy the summer breezes instead!
PLEASE NOTE: We require a rental agreement with all names/ages of guests before the booking process is complete. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation that fails to return the rental agreement or will not comply with our house rules. This is NOT a party house. NO SMOKING of any kind is allowed. Frisco Heights is a quiet neighborhood with many residents who live there full time. A well-behaved dog (preferably nonshedding, but let's talk) may be allowed with $25/nt per pet pet fee and pet addendum.

Annual family trip to Colorado for most to ski and snowboard. 9 adults. Plenty of room especially kitchen and family room. Quiet location yet close to Main Street. Easy drive to Vail and Breckinridge. Kitchen well stocked with cooking supplies. Double oven a plus!

Property is just as pictured , clean and filled with amenities and thoughtful extras. Location is perfect -walking distance to town and short ride to Copper Mtn and Breckenridge. Shana is an excellent host. Great for a family vacation.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home in Frisco! The house was even prettier in person than online, and was perhaps the most well-stocked rental I have stayed in. We stayed with my family of 5 (3 kids ages 17, 17 and 7), and some friends with a family of 4 (kids ages 10 and 14). There was more than enough room in the home for all of us, and plenty of fun things to do there at the house (games, etc). It was a 10-minute drive to ski at Copper Mountain, and an easy walk to Main Street. Above all was the excellent communication with the owner. She was outstanding and made every effort to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We can’t wait to go back!

We stayed here with my 79 year old parents, my sister and her 3 year old, plus my 2 adult children. This place was spectacular for all of us. Loved the location with a short cut path through Walter Bryon Park to downtown Frisco. This enabled us to not have to take the car everywhere(we mostly biked everywhere). The Marina is also within 5 minutes, where you can rent Kayaks, paddle boards, and boats.(check the weather it tends to storm around 3 pm each afternoon)The kitchen was well stocked with all kinds of cooking equipment and they even provided coffee and tea. The gas fireplace on the back porch was an enjoyable place to gather in the evenings. The family room with with the huge sectional was perfect for reading time and the game table allowed us to play cards and games(tons of games, books, and puzzles are provided)The bathrooms were up to date and very clean and the beds comfortable. We rented bikes from Recycle Sports which is a block away from the house and walkable(Frisco has amazing bike trails that are pretty darn flat). Check out the maps provided by the house for biking trails and hiking) Recycle Sports have amazing multi day rates. If you are into biking catch a ride up to Vail Pass and bike down hill to Dillon(my adult kids loved this 18 miles). We also used Mountain Angler for a Fly Fishing guide out of Breckenridge (ask for Willis) Worth the price of a guide every time. Hike Mt Royal if you are up for the challenge. Officer’s Gulch and Old Dillon Reservoir were good hikes for the 79 and 3 year olds. Rainbow Trail is mostly deforested at this point and not as pretty. Great central location for Copper, Breck, and Keystone.Booking this gem next summer.
