We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Conveniently close to the bigger cities but located in a charming small town on the river Rijn. Kitchen was stocked with the basic "necessities" and grocery store within walking distance. Parking close by.

Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr romantisch am Wasser und einer tollen Windmühle. Der vorbeifahrende Zug ist allerdings in der Nacht schon sehr störend. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und wir hatten eine klasse Mühlenführung vom Vermieter.

Dirk and Suzan couldn't have been more accommodating. Dirk kindly picked us up from Alphen aan de Rijn bus station when he knew we were travelling by public transport which is more than we expected when we asked for directions from Amsterdam. He also gave us a ride back to the station at the end of our stay.The old Miller's house is a fantastic place, so peaceful and a great location for those, who like us, want to do everything by public transport. You can get to either Leiden or Alphen aan de Rijn which gives you great access to other bus routes or trains.We got to have a tour of the mill which we found very interesting.We recommend the old Miller's house and we will definitely return again.
