My wife and I had been dreaming of a peaceful escape after a busy year, somewhere far from the city’s hustle and bustle. We wanted to immerse ourselves in the local atmosphere, and this charming place gave us exactly that—and more. Here we found tranquility, the morning crow of a rooster, the sound of church bells and crickets, the scent of the countryside, fresh clean air, and breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast in the distance, framed by forested hills, grapevines, and ripening tomatoes. The warmth of the family atmosphere made us feel instantly at home.
The interiors are tastefully decorated, a perfect blend of vintage charm and modern comfort. Our attic room was spacious, with a balcony overlooking the sea. The bathroom was bright and large, equipped with all the essentials and a hairdryer. The bedroom had everything we needed: a desk, fridge, air conditioning, and a wonderfully comfortable bed.
Breakfast each morning was delicious, and in the evening, if you ask, you may be treated to homemade Italian cuisine paired with local wine. We highly recommend this option—it was divine. Breakfast outdoors with the surrounding views was equally unforgettable.
The location is perfect for exploring. It’s just a short drive or walk to Bomerano, where you’ll find free parking and the starting point of the famous Path of the Gods. Public transport is also very convenient: simply catch the bus to Amalfi in the morning, and from there continue to Ravello, Positano, or Sorrento. In the village itself, you’ll find everything you need—excellent restaurants and pizzerias, grocery and hiking shops, several laundromats, a pharmacy, and a kiosk for newspapers, cigarettes, and bus tickets.
We left feeling truly rested and enriched. As soon as we have the chance, we will happily return to Francesca, Anna, and their wonderful parents!
