About this house rental
Studio house with great modern kitchen, lounge, bathroom and bedroom area.Your private deck is a lovely place to enjoy a wine and the amazing views.
Your privacy is assured as there are no neighbours around my property. So you wake up only to the sound of birds and the gentle of lap of the water.
You are only a few minutes walk from the sandy beach, with great swimming and a boat ramp right in front of the house.
A pristine harbour offers good fishing spots, plus ideal for sailing, kite surfing, paddle boarding or kayaking.Price includes 2 good sea kayaks.
With summer on it's way it is the ideal place for a relaxed get away, so you can curl up with a good book and a glass of wine to watch the sun go down.
We have lovely walking tracks in the area or it is a 15 minute drive to the Kawhia Golf Course.
There is a local horse trek available (in summer) or if you have your own horses we are happy for you to use our post and rail paddock facilities.
There are also Cafe's and some good local craft shops in nearby Kawhia.
This is also an area of historic cultural significance, with an old Pa site as our back drop. You can sit in the shade of our 1000+ year Pohutukawa tree and enjoy the ambience.
Although we are on the coast, Aotea is still central to a number of key tourist attractions in the region.
Less than 20 minutes you can be sitting in the Te Puia Hot Springs on the beach at Kawhia, watching the sun go down.
45 minutes south to the Otorohanga Kiwi and Native Bird House
45 minutes north to the Raglan Bridal Veil Falls
60 minutes scenic drive to Marokopa Falls and Mangapohue Natural Stone Bridge
1 hour drive to the world famous Waitomo Glow Worm Caves or go Caving or Black Water Rafting

We loved the place, it was relaxing and comfortable and a great place to unwind. The view over Aotea harbour and the hills was lovely, it was just the spot to breathe and take it all in. I just wish we could have stayed longer.I wholeheartedly recommend it.
