Jump into your car and make short work of the 20-minute drive to Chamerolles Castle or the 22-minute drive to Pithiviers Tourist Railway (and enjoy the property's convenient onsite parking in the meantime).

We spent a week with friends (3 families) in La Tourelle. The house is clean an comfortable, with adequate bedrooms each with a private bathroom. Especially the outdoors area is a luxury, with private park and garden, swimming pool and tennis court. The surrounding area is not the most exciting part of France, but the large private domain takes away almost any need to leave the property.

We were 12 guests, 6 adults and 6 children. The bedrooms all en-suite were comfortable and apart from one king size room all doubles split into two singles which was a welcome bonus for the girls. We spent the majority of our time exploring the woods, playing tennis and swimming (great pool house too). There’s a great bakery 10 mins away for fresh bread and supermarkets about the same. Lots of chateaux to visit in area and Orleans well worth a visit which is beautiful. Kitchen a little on the small side but we spent most of our time outside so that did not impact on our enjoyment. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for space, time out and tennis! The court was used constantly! Thank you Sophie

Stayed here with close family, 12 of us in fact, end of July beginning of August. The weather was fantastic and so we made great use of all the outdoor facilities (Tennis court, swimming pool, table tennis, Walk in the woods, deck chairs in the sun...) The property had everything we could wish for to make our stay wonderful. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, so were the linen and towels provided. We barely used he living and dining rooms as we were outdoors for the entire time, however both rooms were spacious and could easily accommodate our group. The best thing for all of us was that there was no one else around so any noise we made did not bother anyone. The children loved the woods,a place for them to explore and for us all to hide from the sun when the heat was too much. The Chateau was not too far from local amenities and each morning we would drive to the boulangerie for fresh baguettes and treats. There were supermarkets at 10 minutes drive in Janville. Overall a great holiday. Would definitely do again.

A great place for a family holiday, with plenty of space for everyone. Very relaxing and quiet. The weather was brilliant so lots of time spent in the pool and we ate out by the pool most days. There are quite a few chateaux nearby and there was lots to see and do.
