The apartment is very spacious, clean and cozy. The village is old and lovely with everything you need: a good bakery, places to have breakfast, good restraurants and many free car parks; all within a walking distance. The owner is very nice and waited for us on our arrival. The kitchen is well equipped, good water pressure in the shower and a comfortable bed. Thick walls provide a refreshing temperature inside (we were there in June). We really felt at home and we recommend it !

We stayed in this beautifully preserved medieval home. A real beauty set amongst the traditional village community - complete with not one tower bell but two. Despite our limited French and our host speaking only French, we were respectfully looked after during our long stay. A lack of wi-fi really made things a bit difficult and luckily the wonderful manager of the ‘Villercroze Tourism Office’ made sure we were connected when needed - as did the local library. The house provided plenty of space but stairs need to be considered if very young or less agile folk stay. You may need to check with the host regarding the provision of sheets, towels and hair dryer - particularly, if you are an international visitor. We really loved this house set in the incredibly beautiful village with all that its surroundings offer. Travel from Villercroze to the famous gorges and stunning lakes - you won’t be disappointed. this is a fun property giving you an idea of living in an old place. This is not for people who expect all kinds of luxury but for people looking for something a little different then your average apartment.
