Villa Yanko is situated in Tucepi, one of the most famous tourist destinations of the Makarska Riviera. This part of Dalmatia is known for its crystal clear sea and for kilometers of beautiful pebble beaches, which are known to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia. It is close to Skywalk (Natur park Biokovo) and close to bigger cities like Split or Makarska and situated just beneath the mountain range Biokovo (Natur Park) which is popular among those who like to spend active holidays. And the highest peak of this mountain range, called Sveti Jure, is 1762 m high and just a short drive away from Tucepi. Villa Yanko is the perfect starting point to explore some of the natural beauties of this region and the historical towns Dubrovnik, Ston, Trogir as well as beautiful islands Brač, Hvar, Korčula, the Lastovo Islands (Natur park), and several national parks in the Neighborhood (Mljet, Plitvice lakes, Krka). And those who are more into sightseeing or nightlife, will not be disappointed too.

Sehr gepflegtes und sauberes Haus in wunderschöner,ruhiger Lage.
Alles Notwendige im Haus vorhanden.
Wunderschöner Pool mit geplegten Außenbereich.
Freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter.
Hatten einen sehr erholsamen und Dank der Tips der Vermieter kurzweiligen Urlaub.

We hebben een prachtige week gehad met veel zwem plezier . Het weer was fantastisch (25 C) en het zwemmen in het zwembad ( wel verwarmd in verband met de wat koudere nachten in 3de week oktober) en ook in de zee (22 C) was goed te doen. Leuke plaatsjes om te bezoeken zoals Makarska en Podgori (olijfolie fabriekje) en mooie tochten naar Brac (eiland) en naar Biokovo ( ruim 1750 m ) met pittige trails om te lopen, maken het een interessante plek om te verblijven. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en elke avond waren prachtige zonsondergangen te zien. In de ochtend lekker buiten ontbeten ( de zon is midden okt. om 0930 op het terras) . Verder zeer vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw die op verzoek ook de heerlijke traditionele Peka maaltijd voor je kunnen maken.

The property is finished to an exceptionally high standard and owners have thought of everything. The views are stunning and the pool area benefits from sunshine from morning till sunset. The location is quiet, away from the town. It is however, only a few km from the closest supermarkets and there is a fish market and a couple of good butchers. Restaurants in Tucepi and Markarska were good value. The owners were nearby but not intrusive at all. Pool was kept amazingly clean by owner each day before we awoke. Overall a fabulous holiday, we have had villa holidays for years (15 ) and Villa Yanko is the best one so far. We shall consider returning, we have never done this before.
