About this cabin rental
Peace and tranquility await! Come relax, unwind, and enjoy nature less than one mile from the world renowned Chautauqua Institution. Access all that western New York has to offer (birding, boating, cycling, beaches, fishing, golf, hunting, skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, trails and parks) while staying at our clean and cozy cabin in the woods. #cozycabinCHQ
An expansive deck overlooks the wooded rear of the property and the beautiful pond. The covered deck with skylights has ample seating for entertaining and can be enjoyed during any season. Two sets of French doors welcome you into the great room with pine floors and a bright kitchen. There are 4 bedrooms and a full bath upstairs. The basement level offers a an additional bedroom, full bath, and family room with queen sleeper sofa which walks out to the pond, fire pit, and backyard. A delightful pathway through the woods leads to the pond with a little shore.
The cabin is a 2 minute drive to Lighthouse Grocery and 5 minutes to Tops grocery store (downtown Mayville), boat rental at Chautauqua Marina, Webb's Restaurant, Andriaccio's Restaurant, Chautauqua Lake Snowmobile Club, Chautauqua Golf Club, wineries, restaurants and more. A short 15 minute drive into Bemus Point to ride the Chautauqua Belle, visit shops, eat ice cream, take a carriage ride, enjoy refreshments at Ellicotville Brewing Company, and so much more. We are located 20 minutes from Peek 'N Peak Resort and Spa, are a short drive around the lake to Midway State Park, Long Point State Park, Southern Tier Brewing Company, Panama Rocks Scenic Park, Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum (Jamestown), Chautauqua Point Golf Club, Audubon Community Nature Center (Jamestown), and Holiday Valley Resort. If you don't feel like venturing out, enjoy our 3 acre relaxing retreat. Perfect for families and couples.
There is NO AIR CONDITIONING/AC in the cabin but plenty of windows to let the breeze in. Additionally, please bring your own bottled water as system runs on well and be conservative with taking long showers as to not over tax the well. Thank you.

This was a quaint, well equipped cabin that was perfect in all respects. It was peaceful and quiet. Yet, it was located very close to the Chataugua compound. It was nicely furnished and big enough to accommodate everyone in our group. The property around the house was very nice- with a large yard and a beautiful pond. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Excellent property. Location is 1.4 miles to Chautauqua Institute. No air conditioning so it can get hot. Quiet., clean, and good for a group of 5 that need their own space. We loved our stay. Could use an information book about use of property and local resources.
