Very helpful staff, from the concierge, the porter, the channing lady, everyone was smiling and proactively helpful. The front staff booked us a free shuttle to Pudong Airport in the morning. I loved the breakfast and the night time free snack of noodles or wonton soup. The kids play area was small but nice. The hotel room was gorgeous and the bed was clean with really comfortable pillows. Big tv with good sound and many channels. Really great value for money.
Not much that I didn't like. Communication in English was a little difficult as all except the young porter didn't seem to speak English. I didn't use it but the gym has only 3 exercise machines. It's about 30mins drive to Pudong Airport. It would be helpful to have some information about local eating/restaurant recommendations and public transport as we were pretty clueless and unprepared as we were only there for an overnight layover. Taxi would have taken 1hr intubation the city.

The staff were extremely attentive and caring from the moment we checked in. Even though the staff did not speak much English, they made a great effort to communicate using translation tools, which made everything very convenient and comfortable. We never felt any language barrier. Even though we arrived very late at around 1 AM, the staff were still cheerful and welcoming. They personally guided us to the room and patiently explained the facilities and equipment inside.
The hotel also provides a shuttle bus service to and from the airport as well as to Shanghai Disneyland, which was very convenient. The staff were very thoughtful. They even brought bottled water for us on the shuttle bus and always helped open the taxi door for us whenever we arrived at the hotel.
The room was clean and comfortable, exactly as shown in the pictures. The hotel restaurant was also very clean, with a wide variety of food. The dining area was large with plenty of seating for guests. Even though there were many guests during our stay, it never felt crowded or uncomfortable.
