The Baroque house Marktgasse 1 was opened in March 2016 by Dr. Ing. Maas and Dr. Mentel acquired from Heidenau. The exposed location of the property with immediate market proximity (since Canaletto's times unchanged and traffic-calmed) and the historic details of the 1773 -built building, inspired the owners from September 2018 to make the apartment Atticae available. On 80 sqm you can expect a spacious, modern and comfortably furnished hideaway for 2-4 persons.
The picturesque, medieval old town of Pirna offers a variety of quaint pubs and well-kept restaurants.
The Saxon capital of Dresden can be reached by suburban train in 15 minutes as well as the Saxon Switzerland. The Osterzgebirge Ski Area can be reached by car in 40 minutes. The golden city of Prague can be reached in an hour by motorway.
The 80 square meter large holiday flat is situated in the medieval old town of Pirna. The modern and comfortably furnished flat is intended for 2-4 people. It is located in a baroque building in immediate proximity to the picturesque marketplace (as captured by the famous landscape painter Canaletto). There are many quaint pubs and elegant restaurants available. The state capital Dresden (former seat of royal power) can be reached by train within 15 minutes. The train can take you to the breath-taking Saxon Switzerland National Park. Furthermore, the Czech capital Prague and the east Ore mountain ski resort are less than an hour drive away.

For exploring the town and further afield in the national park, this is an excellent base. Good location, clear instructions from friendly and professional host. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Be aware that the central location near cobbled streets can mean early morning and late night noise is an issue with open windows. Also, the kitchen has minimal equipment, but that is ok if you plan to eat out. The only suggestion would be to update the pillows as they were quite lumpy. However, we enjoyed our stay in this cosy apartment very much.
