About this house rental
The Reaper cottage is a private home with all modern comforts; it is located on the side of the large central house of Borgo Montefiorile; distributed on two floors, it has two terraces and a garden on two levels from which to enjoy the splendid view over the Tuscan countryside ..
The kitchen is located at the entrance on the right: fully equipped with gas stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster and coffee maker. From here you reach the dining area furnished with an oak table and traditional Tuscan chairs. The environment is completed by a double sofa bed with a large flat screen TV, DVD player and CD player. On the left there is the bathroom with shower with a comfortable closet which includes an iron and ironing board.
The romantic double bedroom is located on the upper floor; wrought iron bed, and a large flat screen TV. From here you access the upper terrace furnished with table and chairs, from which to enjoy a magnificent view of the Chianti vineyards and olive groves.
Air conditioning is available in the lounge and is charged according to consumption.
This village has been specially designed to promote a peaceful and quiet environment for friends and couples to spend quality moments together. For this reason, we recommend Montefiorile only to adults.
Montefiorile is a small village of 14 villas located in a quiet location in the heart of the Chianti Classico wine area. The village is located on a hill and the houses enjoy a splendid view of the vineyards and olive groves. Built in recent years, next to the nearby village of Montebuoni, using local stones and materials, it preserves the atmosphere of a Tuscan hill village with the advantage of features such as windows and doors larger than usual that allow light and air to enter in the properties.
The salt water swimming pool is located at a high point behind the village and is surrounded by terraced lawns which enjoy full sun all day long. The swimming pool is fenced and is 13 x 5. There is a covered parking at the bottom of the village and the houses are reached by winding gravel paths and stone steps lined with aromatic herbs, while the native oaks offer a precious welcome shade. The open square in the center can be enjoyed by all residents and is lined with centuries-old olive trees. This is an excellent vantage point for appreciating the views by day or for a walk under the starry skies at night. Montefiorile is an ideal base for exploring local villages, the castles of Brolio or Meleto and enjoying tasting in one of the area's vineyards.
