About this house rental
Our cottage home is a family-oriented, non-smoking, 3 bedroom, 2 full bath ranch style home built in 2000. It will sleep 6 comfortably with a king sized bed in the master bedroom, a queen sized bed in second bedroom, 2 twin beds in the third bedroom. The living spaces include a large living room, dining room with a dining table that seats 6, a full service kitchen, a den and a large 12' x 40' screened in back porch with ample seating for conversation and a large table that seats up to 10. We are located on a quiet street 1.3 miles east of the ferry dock.
The driveway will hold two trucks plus boat trailers side by side. We have many amenities to ensure a happy, relaxing vacation at a home you will want to return to year after year!
* Must be 25 years of age to register. Sorry, no pets. We are unable to accommodate bachelor or bachelorette parties.

This is the fourth year we’ve stayed here. The driveway has ample parking for two boats and trucks with no problems. The house is immaculate and well stocked. Also the house is pretty large inside so if you catch a bad weather day and can’t get out , everyone can move freely about. The kitchen is very clean and stocked with the needed equipment. The freezers have ample space for fish storage.Highly recommended and hopefully it’s available again next year

Property was very clean and plenty of room for our family. The screened in porch was perfect to sit on each night. The furniture on the deck wasn't comfortable. The living room furniture was also uncomfortable. The bathroom by the guest plumbing is backwards for hot and cold. Sorry for the not so good review.

Overall, my family and I enjoyed our trip to Kelly’s Island! Here are the Pros and Cons we found at this particular VRBO:
Pros:
- showers/toilets and beds were clean
- back porch was an amazing place to relax
- plenty of parking
- quiet street
- yard was nicely kept
- fire ring area was a nice feature
- although we didn’t read or play any games, it’s nice they offered plenty of books and games
- appreciated the recommendations of places to see on the island
Cons:
-diningware was dirty (some of which had been put away in the cupboard dirty)
- crumbs on the seats (couches/armchairs and dining chairs)
- floors were not swept/vacuumed
- the soaking tub had some sort of drip stains, we didn’t feel comfortable using it
- tables, counters, and fridge were sticky and dirty; we ended up wiping down most of the kitchen to feel comfortable
- coffee machine was covered in grease and had old grounds
- wood pile was not as advertised in the pictures (almost all the wood was gone and what was left was covered by brush and some poison ivy)
- some of my family members felt the beds were uncomfortable
