Tollo is located in Abruzzo, in the province of Chieti. It stands on a hill with a rounded shape at 150 meters above sea level. It covers about 15 square kilometers.
The country has a beautiful landscape: on one side the Adriatic Sea, which is about four kilometers as the crow flies, on the other the mountains of the Central Appennino, with the Maiella Madre and the Gran Sasso that seem to embrace the rich vineyards and olive groves.
The configuration of the territory is characteristic because the houses are arranged in such a way as to form a large cross that coincides with the ancient acrocoro; further down are the districts of Colle di Tollo, Colle Secco, Santa Lucia, Arielli, Pedine, Macchie, Colle Cavaliere, Piano Mazzone, S. Peter. The distance from Chieti is about 20 km.
