About this house rental
House of character and family from the 19th century, completely renovated in the Normandy countryside. Large spaces (garden, gravelled courtyard, very sunny terrace), as well as a sauna will allow you to relax in peace. You can also take advantage of the fireplace in the dining room to warm up the atmosphere on cooler evenings and why not grill.
Close to Bayeux, the landing beaches ... La Bucaille occupies a central position for visiting the main sites of the Manche and Calvados. the visits are many and varied.

The rooms are spacious: 20 m², exceptionally clear thanks to a ceiling height of 3.30 m and 2 large windows per room. The materials are traditional: original floors, molded ceilings with rosettes and cornices ...
This family home (4 generations) includes:
- Dining room with fireplace (wood provided),
- Large living room with flat screen TV, books and board games.
- Fitted kitchen (oven, dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle, toaster ...)
- 1 bedroom for 2 people (double bed of 160) with bathroom in the bedroom and separate WC.
- 1 bedroom for 3 people (double bed of 160) and a convertible armchair of 90 with separate bathroom (shower and WC)
- 1 family suite consisting of 2 bedrooms of 20 m² each with connecting door. 1 bedroom with double bed (140) and the other bedroom with 3 single beds. 1 separate bathroom with shower and WC
- 1 bathroom and a toilet on the ground floor.
- Sauna to relax.
- Large garden with tables and lounge chairs.
- Large sunny terrace.
Bed linen and towels, tea towels are provided free of charge.

We loved our stay-and our host! The home was adorable and full of personality and personal touches.
It was a bit out of Bayeux, but the GPS took us right to the house. We would to stay there again!

Classic French property, with homely feel and wonderful family history. Traditional but with all modern amenities, but not in the style of a new build standard box hotel.

Beautiful masion with fantastic hosts set in the Normandy countryside. A vacation dream come true. As a lover of design this home met all of my expectations. An amazing retreat for a multi-generational vacation. Our hosts Jean Francois and Francoise are lovely and charming and informative. Merci!
