The Ferieheisel combines upscale comfort and old walls skillfully together and is characterized as a special holiday in the South Palatinate.
Our newly redesigned half-timbered house dating back to 1804 was completely renovated by 2018 with much passion and enchanted up to 4 vacationers with an individual living atmosphere.
Cosiness is a top priority in Ferieheisel and modernity is not lost sight of.
The individuality and the absolutely quiet location in the tranquil Blankenborn make our holiday home extraordinary.
Harmonizing colors run like a red thread through the decor and make the overall picture very consistent.
We paid special attention to the lighting - more than 30 original light sources can be combined and provide light magic throughout the house.
The themed bathroom with wine cellar ambience captivates with original details and invites you to relax with its large, floor-level rain shower.
A switchable floor heating ensures every season for comfort.
Since the smoking and bringing pets in Ferieheisel are not allowed, it is an ideal holiday home especially for allergy sufferers.
Also, allergy bedding can be provided on request. In the outdoor area can be smoked of course.
The cozy yard, which is ready for the holiday guests, exudes a touch of nostalgia.
2 parking spaces are available for our guests in the locked yard. Bring your own bicycles can also be placed.
If you want to experience an active holiday in the South Palatinate, you can choose one of the numerous activities in the area - whether bathing lakes, water parks, hiking routes, high ropes course or climbing rocks in the Dahn Rockland.
Or experience relaxing hours in the nearby Südpfalztherme.
The possibilities are very diverse. Explore the area on foot, by car or by mountain bike. A popular mountain bike route leads directly past Blankenborn.
The spa town of Bad Bergzabern can be reached in 5 minutes by car. Here runs the German-French tourist route. The popular Alsace is only about 10 km from us.
The South Palatinate is not for nothing called "Tuscany of Germany" and offers its charms in every season.
In the spring, the almond blossom enchants visitors with the famous almond blossom festivals, in the summer attract countless wine festivals and hiking opportunities, in the fall lures the vintage and the splendor of colors of the Palatinate Forest, in winter invite cozy Christmas markets to a stroll and the nature exudes a special magic in the Snow.

2 lockable bedrooms with 2 queen-size double beds, 1 open fully equipped modern kitchen with dining table and sofa, 1 bathroom and 1 hall provide enough space on 60 sqm for up to 4 people. In the outdoor area are again about 100 square meters fenced area at your disposal.

Wir haben die Tage im Ferieheisel in vollen Zügen genossen. Das liebevolle und geschmackvolle Ambiente sowohl der Wohnung als auch des Außenbereiches ist schwer zu toppen. Die überaus freundlichen Gastgeber haben uns sehr herzlich und sogar mit einer Flasche Secco willkommen geheißen. Wir konnten von der ersten Sekunde an entspannen und eine absolut unbeschwerte Zeit verbringen. Für Waldfreunde wie uns ist die Lage des Hauses ein Traum. Wir freuen uns schon wieder auf ein nächstes Mal.

Professionelle, hilfsbereite und freundliche Gastgeber.
Vier Erw. haben sich in der vorbildlich ausgestatteten und geschmackvoll eingerichteten FeWo sehr wohl gefühlt. Unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Unsere Wünsche wurden gern erfüllt. Blankenborn ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für interessante und reizvolle Ziele in der Pfalz und im Elsass.

Die Wohnung bietet alles, was benötigt wird und strahlt mit ihren über 200 Jahre alten Balken eine besondere Atmosphäre aus. Ein Wohlfühlort, allerdings eher für 2 als für 4 Personen. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig am Ende des Dorfes, dahinter kommt nur noch Wald, im Ort gibt es nichts, aber die Strecke bis Bad Bergzabern haben wir bequem mit dem Pedelec zurückgelegt. Kein Problem also.

Ein sehr schön saniertes Haus, alles da was man braucht, ruhige Lage... sehr nette Leute.... schöner Ausgangspunkt um die Südpfalz zu erkunden.
