Snowater Condo #59 - A Great Family Condo With a Cabin Feel!
Your family will have a great time in this 2-story, 2-bedroom, 1 ¾-bath townhouse-style condo. The main floor features a galley style kitchen, an ample size living/dining area equipped with a hide-a-bed, a Lopi fireplace surrounded by a brick enclosure (firewood NOT provided), a walk-out balcony where you can hear the Nooksack River running by, plus one bedroom with a full + twin bunk, and a cedar lined ¾-bath. Ascending the staircase to the top floor brings you to a wood-lined loft bedroom reminiscent of a cabin with 1-queen-sized bed, plus a laundry cubby with a stack washer/dryer and one full bath. This tastefully decorated, wifi equipped, and monitored family vacation property will sleep 4 to 6 persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!).

**Wi-Fi service is now available in our area and provided FREE OF CHARGE for Guest use. Having said this, the service is currently subject to failure, as the service provider is dialing everything in. Intermittent service failures are circumstances that are beyond our control, and no sleeping accommodation refunds are provided if the FREE Wi-Fi SERVICE fails to function correctly.
**This condo is a monitored family vacation home, not a party house. In this regard, Guests who choose to ignore house rules are subject to immediate eviction with complete forfeiture of all rental monies paid (per the written Guest Rental Agreement). We had a great trip. The wi-fi never worked even after restarting everything and rechecking all of the connections, but we had a wonderful time without any internet access. The place fit our needs nicely.

The condo was a great place to stay for a weekend of hiking and exploring. There were a few things that needed fixing and some supplies lacking, but communicating with the property manager was easy. The entry to the condo is a bit dark, but the main living room area has plenty of light. Beds were comfortable. Good ventilation. Having the rec center nearby was GREAT--loved the pool and jacuzzi. There is also a path down to the river that is very close. The guitar provided was also a nice surprise! Very comfortable place to stay. We all agreed we would stay there again!

The condo is part of a complex located right on Route 20 near wonderful hiking trails in the Mt Baker area. It takes anywhere from 5 to 45 minutes to reach the desired trail with the Heather Meadows Visitor Center about 30 minutes away. The complex itself offers so many amenities! 2 indoor pools each with jacuzzis, tennis and basketball courts, many outdoor grills and picnic tables and my favorite, a lovely trail by the Nooksack River. The condo itself, while small, has everything needed included the much used washer and dryer. the kitchen has a full sized refrigerator and stove …be sure to bring any needed spices including salt and pepper. It took a long while to find the silverware which is in a tiny drawer under the wood cutting boards on the counter above the sink. All in all, it was a great place to stay for hiking in this area.
