About this apartment rental
Apartment of about 96 square meters in a house of 4 apartments. Located on the ground floor, with independent entrance, in front of the parish church of Gianico. Country of about 2,000 inhabitants, 2 km from Darfo Boario Terme in the green Valcamonica where the Oglio river flows which flows into Lake Iseo, in Lombardy, northern Italy. The rooms are large and comfortable, suitable for families and couples. In summer it is cool because the walls have a width of cm. 50, is one of the oldest houses in the historic center. In the sleeping area there are two bedrooms: one double with wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables, the other has two single beds with chest of drawers and linen for the bedrooms, iron and ironing board. The bathroom has a bathtub, two sinks, WC, bidet, hairdryer, first aid kit "First Aid Kit", furnished with lockers containing bathroom linen. From the sleeping area you go down two steps to enter the living room which has a sofa with a fifth bed function, a sofa and two armchairs in front of the fireplace, a table, some chairs, 43 "UHD - LG LED TV and Wi-Fi internet. In the entrance there is a table with a chair. From the living room you go down two steps and go to the kitchen with gas stove with safety device inserted, electric oven, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, electric coffee machine, dishwasher, table, chairs, refrigerator and sideboard with dishes. Next to the kitchen there is a utility room with sink, washing machine, shower, toilet. The private garage of 17 square meters is located 200 meters from the apartment. At 50 meters from the house there are bars, at 100 meters and a restaurant with typical local dishes. At 1 km a cycle path that runs almost all over Valcamonica up to Lake Iseo. At 1 km on foot you reach the hill where you can admire the sanctuary of Gianico which dominates the area up to Lake Iseo. At km 2 there is Lake Moro, a cool area in summer where you can swim, sunbathe or relax in the shade of the trees, there are bars and restaurants. At km 2 an aqua park with indoor and outdoor pools with bar and restaurant. Nearby there is the Archeopark with reconstruction of stilt houses and prehistoric villages, bar and restaurant. At 15 km the Rock Engravings-Rock Engravings Park of Naquane, UNESCO site, a place of considerable historical and artistic interest that deserves to be visited. In the area there are places where you can practice "rock climbing".
At 9 km you will reach Lake Iseo and take the boat to Montisola and see where the work of Christo's Floating Pears was installed in June 2016. In Valcamonica you can visit churches with frescoes and sculptures of the XV-XVI-XVII century executed by great artists of our history.
At km 3 there is an artificial lake for trout fishing and a bar. At 2 km there is a large shopping center with bar, restaurant, takeaway gastronomy and all that can be used in daily life open until 9 pm.

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. It is such a beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished and full of character. It is spacious and elegant and felt like a home from home. Letizia is a wonderful and considerate host who provided everything we needed. When we were driving away my husband and I said it is probably the nicest holiday accomodation we have stayed in. And Gianico is a well situated village for exploring the valley and the lake.

Thanks to the great hostess and a lovingly furnished and equipped apartement, we really enjoyed our stay.The village of Gianico offers a good base for visiting beautiful lakes of various sizes or the city of Brescia.

Letizia was a wonderful, helpful and generous host. Communication was prompt and easy, from arrival to departure. The apartment had lovely character, was traditionally furnished and had many interesting Italian artefacts to explore. It was spotlessly clean, had comfortable beds and all we needed to enjoy our stay. Free parking was available a short walk away which was not an issue for us. We loved our visit, away from the crowds.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this immaculate property! Having our own vehicle, the private secured parking was an added bonus. Letitzia greeted us on our arrival and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable for our stay. She also went over and above by having some bottled water, fruit, coffee and snacks already there for us ....this was greatly appreciated after our long travels getting there. The flat was extremely clean and comfortable for us (4 adults), and conveniently located to the surrounding areas that we were visiting. Letitia was a wonderful host and we will definitely stay there again if we return to the area. Grazie Letitzia!!
