About this apartment rental
The bright apartment is around 35 square meters, has a dining kitchen and a bright, small living room with a spacious double bed. (From 2019 we will have air conditioning in every bedroom.) However, every room also has a ceiling fan.
A glass front that spans the entire south side of the apartment fuses the boundary between the interior and the balcony, which enables a spectacular view of the sea and the offshore islands. Let yourself be enchanted by the interior and the indescribable view.
The studio is on the top floor of the Beba house. 'Beba ’the house with the name of its former, unforgettable owner, is located in the mild, green, southern bay of Karbuni, away from tourists and everyday life. It lies 50 m above the sea. Its 4 modern Swiss-style apartments are bright and lovingly furnished.
With its stony, crystal-clear bottom, the sea offers unique conditions for fishing, diving and snorkeling. The beautiful bathing area with sun sails, shady berths and boat moorings always delights our guests!
The island is ideal for mountain biking, hiking, enjoying nature and exploring the unique flora and fauna.
The picturesque capital of Korcula can be reached in 45 minutes by car. Countless picturesque villages in pristine bays reflect Dalmatian culture and hospitality. In addition, in the larger towns such as Blato and Vela Luka there are great restaurants, cafés to stay, markets, shops and rental options for all kinds of vehicles. For a day trip, the world-famous Unesco city of Dubrovnik or the ancient Roman city of Split beckons.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: The Dalmatian coast is one of the most beautiful and unspoilt coasts in the Mediterranean. It captivates with clear, clean water and a deep view, which makes swimming, diving, snorkeling, surfing and sailing a pleasure. The fish from this body of water tastes particularly aromatic and tender. It is sold at the market or served in the idyllic, local restaurants with delicious local wine and vegetables.
If you prefer not to come with your own car, you can rent a car at Split or Dubrovnik Airport or directly on the island of Korcula. The holidays in our bay will be unforgettable for you! And one more thing: for 8 years now, next to the 'Beba' house, there is our second house 'Sasa', which you can also find on holiday homes and on our personal website.
TRAVEL: An excellently developed motorway leads from Rijeka or Zagreb via Split towards Dubrovnik to Ploče. In a few hours from the north of Croatia you can be in the port of Split or near the Pelješac peninsula. In summer it is advantageous to drive at night to avoid traffic jams. Regardless of whether it is a little more leisurely or by public transport: The shipping company 'Jadrolinja' offers ferry trips and trips by catamaran.
You can reach Split (or at most Dubrovnik) by plane from various European cities every day. The transfer by shuttle bus from the airport to the port and thus to the crossings to the island is well developed and cheap.

Wir haben uns bei Steffi und Marina sehr wohl gefühlt, die beiden sind sehr herzlich und gastfreundlich. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet, alles was man benötigt, war vorhanden. Der Balkon bot viel Platz und einen unglaublichen Ausblick! Im Garten sind verschiedene Kräuter angepflanzt, die auch von den Gästen verwendet werden dürfen. Der eigene Badeabschnitt inkl. Liegen und Sonnensegeln bot ebenfalls ausgiebig Platz und war über eine Treppe direkt von der Unterkunft aus zu erreichen.
Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen, dennoch befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe ein Restaurant, ein Kiosk und diverse Wassersportmöglichkeiten (Kajak, SUP, Boat Rent). Zu den beiden größeren Städten Vela Luka und Blato gelangt man innerhalb von wenigen Minuten.
Insgesamt haben wir einen sehr tollen und erholsamen Urlaub auf Korčula verbracht und werden wiederkommen!

Bereits zum zweiten Mal haben wir unsere Ferien in Karbuni verbracht, die Insel bietet viele Möglichkeiten, ob Entspannen am Strand, Radfahren, Wandern durch die herrlich duftenden Kiefernwäldchen oder das gute Essen - es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Das Haus Beba hatte uns schon das letzte Mal überzeugt (Wohnung Parterre), dieses Mal genossen wir unseren Aufenthalt zu zweit zuoberst im kleinen Studio, was uns mit seinem grosszügigen Balkon mit unverbauter Sicht aufs Meer sofort überzeugt hat! Durch die Lage am Hang mit Sicht auf div. Inselgruppen und direktem Zugang zum Meer, hat das Haus einen besonderen Charme. Wir fanden die Wohnung sehr sauber vor, die Küche ist mit modernen Geräten und einem grossen Kühlschrank ausgestattet, das Schlafzimmer ist gemütlich und einladend möbliert. Insgesamt herrscht ein hoher Stand an Infrastruktur und das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, die beiden Gastgeberinnen waren wie immer unkompliziert und sehr aufmerksam und freundlich zu uns und hatten wertvolle Tipps zu Ausflugsmöglichkeiten! Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen und können das Ferienhaus, sowie die Insel als Reiseziel im Allgemeinen nur weiterempfehlen.

Die moderne und blitzsaubere Wohnung ist überkompett ausgestattet - (sogar Gewürze und einige Grundnahrungsmittel waren vorhanden!!!!) Der Ausblick vom Zimmer ist Balsam für die Seele. Der Badeplatz ist ausreichend gross und bietet guten Zugang zum sauberen Wasser. Die Gastgeberinnen Marina und Steffi waren ausgesprochen zuvorkommend und nett!!! Da in der Nähe keine Disco oder dergleichen ist kann man in Karbuni die Ruhe so richtig geniessen und sich erholen. Ebenso ist man aber in 10 Minuten mit dem Auto in Vela Luka wo hervorragende und preisgünstige Gaststätten zu finden sind. Wir können dieses Domizil guten Gewissens wirklich jeden empfehlen!!!!
