Family Retreat with Balcony in Meir

Brilliant location and very good property with most essential facilities available. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom and very spacious. Good if you're looking for a no-fuss vibe – practical rather than luxury – at a good price.

Furnishings were a bit basic. Although mostly well equipped, there wasn't a bottle opener. But perfect as a base to explore the city and right at the heart of bustling Antwerp, although located in a quiet side street. Shame there were building works across the road that started quite early.

Het was gelegen in het centrum dus je was overal erg snel te voet

De locatie is heel centraal, fijn op loopafstand van centrum. Ook is het appartement ruim opgezet. Nette ontvangst (op andere locatie) en ook telefonisch goed geholpen toen we geen warm water hadden.

Helaas is het erg gehorig in het gebouw. We hadden geen geluidsoverlast van 1 appartement maar bij elke thuiskomst leken er gasten in ons appartement te staan. Tot aan drie uur ‘s nachts. Verder waren er ontzettend veel muggen in het appartement. Bij binnenkomst stond er een raam open. Er zijn geen horren. Dus dat heeft de nachtrust flink verstoord. Tip: zorg voor 1 of 2 ventilatoren (of airco) in het appartement of airco. En misschien ook horren en een vliegenmepper? Het was ca 29 graden in het appartement.
