When VacationRenter launched in 2018, our mission was simple: fix a fragmented travel landscape by simplifying the search process. We didn’t just want to build another booking site; we wanted to build the best one, creating a single platform where travelers could find the perfect stay anywhere in the world.

The response was immediate. In just two years, we surpassed $1 billion in gross bookings, becoming the fastest-growing travel startup to ever hit that milestone.

But as we scaled, it became clear that our name didn’t fully reflect the business we had built.
