Location is pretty good as it is about 400m away from the ancient Hefang Street which is a famous tourist area where shops lined both sides of a waterway. The room is pretty old and the basin cannot drain water well, but overall the room is clean and price is reasonable.

The hotel shut off the air conditioning, making it very stuffy. I made a complaint and it was turned on for a night. The next day same thing happened again. Sigh.

However, the map is in Chinese so it is quite difficult to find the place

My group stayed in this hotel for three nights. On the first night, all three rooms were without air conditioning. In particular, for the whole night, tiny insects bit us.
I made a complaint to the Manager the next morning. She was apologetic and made arrangement for me to change to another room and offered some fruits as the normal China Chinese way of showing regret. That night air-con for all our rooms was restored.
Then came the third night. My room was again without air-conditioning and only powered by a tiny air blower. Luckily one of the windows could be opened slightly. Otherwise, I would have to tolerate another sleepless night.
