Whilst the location of this hotel is great and the staff nice. People should be warned not only of the pubs late license but the extremely loud music that will keep you awake most of the night. Whilst a bit of noise is to be expected staying above a busy pub. The level of noise you hear from your room is outrageous. When I finally did get some sleep in the morning I was awoken by what sounded like a herd of elephants in the room above and someone vomiting all morning in the room next door. The rooms were nice but could definitely do with some soundproofing. I would only recommend considering staying at this hotel in the week, I'm sure my experience would of been different. But there's no point booking for a weekend unless your partying until the early hours. You'd be better off sleeping in your car.
