    A lovely old pub, B & B and restaurant. Full of character and a maze of rooms. The room was ok, clean and big enough for us. However, the bathroom was small and had no shelving or space to put anything (inc the toilet roll, which was in a basket as far from the toilet as you could get!) We also could not get the window to stay a little bit open. The fire alarm works - as we found out at 3.30am Sunday morning. We believe someone as set it off. The staff were very quick to assess and confirm the false alarm, allowing us to get back to bed. The breakfast was a continental type, was looking forward to a full English, but the food was fresh and tasty enough (probably healthier too!) We would stay here again.

    Privately owned and very friendly staff. We only stayed one night but enjoyed it immensely. Basic up stairs pub room with ensuite but very clean. Service A grade. Would stay again

    Nice friendly staff. Rooms are comfortable but needs heating sorting out. We had to be moved from our first room as it was so cold. There was no problem they offered to move us straight away which was a lot better but still no heating. Overall a nice stay and would stay again if we were in the area
