    At first they put me in a room in the basement (-1 floor on the elevator) with very little light and a bathroom that had a broken ceiling, visible mold and flies from their garden all over. I went to the lobby to ask to be moved and all the person had to say was “it’s not the basement since you go down to -1 but then go up 4 stairs”. They ended up moving me to a room on the 4th floor after 3 days which was better but still had the same cleanliness and general maintenance issues (mold on the ceiling and grout joints, barely any water pressure in the shower, water temp oscillating between ice cold and burning hot, etc.). Overall the hotel feels old and dated. I asked to speak to the manager to the front desk and they told me the manager was busy and would call or email me back. The next day I went back and was told they were busy again and would call me ASAP. I tried 4 days in a row and they never did, with a different excuse every time (“today the manager was busy because the elevator wasn’t working”). At checkout, I asked for a bill showing that I didn’t owe anything and that my deposit was refunded and they were not even able to provide that, again with random excuses (at first, it was “there’s an emergency that came up I’ll email it you later”, then “my printer doesn’t work”, then “oh turns out I can’t close the reservation in the system because it says you owe $30 because we changed your room mid stay”). Overall I do not recommend staying there unless it’s really dirt cheap, which it is not compared to other options that now seem a lot better.
