I stayed in Mons for a week and was looking for a decent, yet affordable accommodation. On arrival, the hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself looked calm, modern and cozy with all of the basic amenities and more. While I was too busy to make use of the gym, restaurant, and swimming pool; I did enjoy the free parking(!) in addition to the calm and rest of Hotel Utopia its forested environment. Mons its city center is only a 10 minute drive away, with the highway being even nearer at 5 minutes. Within the hotel itself, I received room 104. This room is positioned next to the elevator. Despite some occasional dampened noises; the room was perfectly suitable for obtaining a proper sleep after a hard days work. So much so, that you simply cannot hear people walking in the corridor adjecent to your hotel room until they gently enter the elevator. The local 4G, and the Hotel its Wi-Fi connections were fully congested during the afternoons and early evenings. During the early mornings,however; these facilities worked just fine. For those travelling for work or studies; this might be an important point of consideration. As I have experienced myself; it can be quite challening to get work done on a congested and frequently dropping wireless internet connection. Because I did enjoy all of the other facets of the Hotel; I will nevertheless be visiting this hotel again in the future.
(Regarding the wireless internet; I think that the problems concerning the wireless connectivity could be solved by bringing along your own wireless access point (and IT-networking skills). The room did after all have its own RJ-45 socket for wired internet connections.)

Initially, we had booked a normal hotel room. The place was ideal, a 20-minute drive from Pairi Daiza. The hotel looked good in the pictures and including breakfast it was not expensive.
Upon arrival we were amazed at how nice the hotel looked. At check-in we were told that we had been upgraded to the twin box. A wooden house outside the hotel but not far from the hotel. The twin box is a nice addition, as are all the other little houses.
It was a very nice experience and the cottage looked brand new! It did move back and forth as you walked yourself back and forth, even if you walked quietly. The shower stall is a bit awkward, water is everywhere because it is not sealed. I also didn't find any ventilation in the bathroom so I just opened the window. We slept great, it was nice and quiet and the beds were very good. The cottage was also clean.
The next morning we had breakfast, this is a really good breakfast. The choice is huge and the coffee is good! When they are done renovating I am sure this hotel will be very much loved! Thanks for the upgrade, we had a wonderful stay!
