Going from Kansas City to Fort Leonard Wood, MO, this was about halfway. And meeting up with some friends the next day makes this a great stop.
It is what it is: a throw back to an era of roadside motels. Nothing fancy. It's clean. Old school furniture. A TV. Hot shower. And a price that no one else can beat!
Not only would I recommend it, I plan on staying again.
