Located in center of Portree. You can easily walk to find a restaurant and go sight-seeing around the area. There was some noises from the street before midnight, but I can sleep well after that. The room is large and convenient for us.

Upon arriving in Portree albeit tired & wet as ferry cancellations meant a longer drive I was met by a lovely member of staff. My room was allocated & was at the very top of hotel, 3rd floor, small turning staircase, very small room with very small not double bed. Very small bathroom with very small tight entrance shower. All staff were very helpful & at a much reduced price if it were to be my only option in Portree then & only then would I accept it. Breakfast was good. The room might otherwise suit ‘ workers or tradesmen in the area .

We were on a 21 day trip with 2 luggages and stayed 3 nights here. No fridge in room so had to deposit our medication and fridge in restaurant as recommended. On checkout they could not find what we deposited with them! Hotel has no elevator and we were on the top floor. Imagine lugging our big luggage bags up 5 flights of steps with 8 steps each.
Since we have a car, location was not important. Hotel has no carpark.
