Very basic, but rooms clean and spacious. Always a strong smell of cannabis . You get what you pay for and its very convenient for us when visiting family

This 3* hotel is located near the sea front and Whitley Bay Centre. Our bedroom was large and the en-suite also, but the 'double bed' was only 4'6" wide, despite there being ample room for a King size bed. Our rooms were clean and spacious and in good decorative order, but the corridors were tired with some damaged wallpaper and less than pristine carpets. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the breakfasts were good and served hot and promptly, but apart from the regular fried breakfast components, there wasn't much choice. There is a free adequate and secure car park adjoining the Hotel. This was a reasonably priced and centrally located hotel, near a beautiful coastline and promenades, but rather tired.

The room was not clean stains on towels carpets nt been hoovered dining room tables dirty mix up with breakfast disturbance where police were called and very noisy early hours of morning with night club straight outside our window
