The Tilman is a favourite spot for a drink when visiting Barmouth (usually camp nearby) so know the place well but, this is the first time stopping over. Staff were very welcoming & friendly got a full run down of what was open locally (as most of the town is "off season" which we knew before booking). Room was clean & comfortable, bathroom was wow & the little touches really made it a lovely room to be in. Tea, coffee etc was a plenty with fridges on the landing for any extras; really appreciated good quality products too. If you have a good appetite you're in for a treat with a 2 course breakfast...... Choose wisely though... I chose porridge & banana (absolutely delicious) & what I thought would be the lighter choice with the brioche toast & yoghurt..... How wrong i was; two very generous slices of delicious brioche with yoghurt, banana & fruit compot which sadly following the porridge I couldn't do it justice 🫣 sorry chef!!! Hubby enjoyed a lovely full English..... Highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again & highly recommend to others 🤩
