Knowing the Hoefkade from years ago, this is an amazing surprise place to stay. Less than 5 mins walk from Holland Spoor rail station, 5 mins walk to Chinatown and a little further the Centre, Spui/Grote Markt street. Room is good bed is good and all kinds of activities you can participate in, cycles to hire etc 3 min points though: Reception is VERY slow with c/in, room allocation, that needs to be improved. My room on the 5th floor had a great view but no Safety box. Should have one. The Bathroom area is big enough BUT the design is a bit weird. VERY small sink and the Shower could have been much bigger(there IS space), you have to watch out you don't bash your arms inside while showering. And I'm a thin person!

I liked this place very much! Spacious and clean room with bathroom. Big yard and cozy restaurant. Lovely and friendly staff.

The ventilation was pretty useless. I the temperature was well above 20 degrees all through the night. I cold not do anything about that. When I checked out i was running 25 minutes late due to working online late at night. This impacted no one. There were no cleaners or anyone else impacted. I got hit with a 25 Euro penalty. All I can say is avoid this place.
