The room was lovely and spacious and was very clean. View was amazing.
The parking wasn’t great, there is meant to be a barrier to stop others parking there but this was broken so other pub users were parked in the spot and we had to park on the road on the first night. The next morning, we moved the car but the following afternoon got blocked in from pub users. Not an issue for us but worth noting!
The breakfast in the room was disappointing. We got 4 small boxes of cereal, 3 apples, a tub of out of date yoghurt and a bottle of milk that was going out of date in the middle of our stay. Breakfasts were fine and dates not an issue but the items were disappointing. Additionally there weren’t washing up facilities in the room such as washing up liquid! We washed our breakfast bowls up with hot water in the bathroom sink. There is a lovely village shop that has baked items so a shame these weren’t part of the breakfast or vouchers offered for the shop as it was 20 seconds away from the room.
The staff in the pub were friendly and check in was fine. But when we saw the woman who checked us in, there was no acknowledgment to ask how we were finding the room.
