Dust & cobwebs in room, cup stain on bedside table, toilet pan loose, no full length mirror, breakfast poor, haggis didn't taste nice, porridge same. Some drinks unavailable at bar, advertised free use of spa at another hotel 700 yds away, but this was up a very steep hill, in another part of town. Requested by email prior to visit, a room on a lower floor, they did not get the email? Also enquired regards a special meal booking, again, no response. Got what we payed for I guess?

A lovely hotel with friendly staff. Location was excellent as it was a very short walk to the centre of town. Rooms were clean and more than adequate for a short stay. My only issue was that the WiFi wasn’t reaching our rooms which is disappointing in this day and age. Apart from that everything else was great. I would easily recommend this hotel and happily stay here again.
