The hotel booking said we could check in from 2 pm. We arrived at 2 pm and the hotel was dead - all locked up and nobody there. We called the number that was on the door and were told a colleague would let us in which they did but it was all very strange. The gentleman that checked us in explained reception is closed until 3 pm. The room had a musty smell. The carpet was all stained and the hotel just had a weird feel to it. Wouldn’t stay again even though it was cheap

Used this hotel several times - good value for money- you may need to call the receptionist by phone- number is on the door- a reasonable 10 minutes from the ferry- if you’re new to dieppe take the 2nd road off the roundabout-up the hill on exiting the terminal it’s a lot easier than going through the centre of the port and is more or less the same time- maps will say first left out of port but just ignore it- it will change as you go up the hill
