Really enjoyed my overnight stay at the Lion at Malpas. Very comfortable room and great food. But it is the professional and helpful staff that make this place extra special.

Last minute booking. I was wowed by the room, spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated in a lovely tumor building separate from the pub. Great attentive staff. And a really very good meal. All round could not fault this lovely pub

Stayed for one night in a ‘village’ room on the courtyard , with dinner and breakfast.
Room and bed very comfortable. Spacious size and all the usual amenities.
Our evening meal was delicious, and the surroundings in the pub area are somehow cosy and spacious.
We really enjoyed our stay and will return on another special occasion.
