Room is good and big. Elevator and free car park. Hotel s 15 mins walk to the center and next to the lake. There are 2 restaurant just next to the hotel and super market just opposite.

I chose the Huntsman for its location within walking distance of Eyre Square and having plenty of free parking. The room was perfect with a huge comfortable double bed and double windows to ensure a peaceful night's sleep. Great value for money.

The Huntsman is a lovely small boutique hotel. Our room
was well appointed, nicely decorated, our bed comfortable.
We had a hire car so needed parking, and were watching our budget. This seemed a good fit. My only gripe was that it was a bit further away from the action of Galway than I realised, about a 20 minute walk. But for our needs it still worked and was no reflection on the comfort of our room.
Good value for the price.
