    It’s quite far away, and walk a bit, but very peaceful and good price. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room is new, clean, and cozy. Recommended!

    We had a very good time at The Hidden Gem. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable and the staff were very friendly. It is 10 minutes walking from the main intersection in Sairee area and the hill is only really an issue if you have mobility problems. Overall a great accommodation.

    We have nothing bad to say, I honestly don’t think you can find a better hotel in Koh Tao (we’ve been to others)

    Stayed here three nights and overall had a good stay, there were a couple of things worth mentioning though… Firstly it’s a short way from the main strip but quite far from the ferry port, so recommend getting a bike. Secondly there was a 1,000 baht deposit (can’t remember if this was obvious on the listing or not). Finally we did have a brief ant invasion into my bag (partly my fault) when the packaging to some throat lozenges broke without me knowing. I understand we’re in the jungle and these things happen but didn’t get much of a response from the host when told of the issue (but were given ant spray which was helpful). I did ask to move rooms as the ants were already in the room and hadn’t come from outside, but we weren’t able to. Overall I would recommend, if you’re going to rent a vehicle and are super diligent about packing your bags so ants can’t invade, the hosts were friendly and the accommodation was nice.
