All good apart from the plumbing, drains glugged badly 😞 and one of the radiators didn't work.
I had a dog so didn't want to change rooms, so they gave me an fan heater, which warmed it up enough.
Only having been once I don't know if it's a reflection on maintenance in general or an unfortunate one off.

Everything excellent apart from the bar, they only had one tot of scotch left in the bottle, and no more bottles, and they were completely out of Cola of any sort, this is not the first time I’ve had that at this hotel, I’ve had problems at the bar there at least twice before, it’s not as if Scotch or Cola are rare drinks.

Many things either missing or of low quality. Needs complete update to be in the 21st century.
Cleanliness sadly lacking in bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas.
Beds very uncomfortable and bed linen badly worn.
No vodka in the bar and no salmon on the breakfast.
Curtains mouldy. TV not Smart. No lifts. Calling it coffee is not accurate.
However the WIFI was decent throughout. Staff friendly and helpful.
