    Though little in the way of period features, my room was large, clean and comfortable, A good shower (but no bathtub). Fantastically comfortable bed. The location was ideal. I was very happy with the hotel and would return.

    We read about Ludlow being one of the ‘ prettiest towns in the UK’ so decided to visit to see for ourselves. From the moment we arrived & greeted by the most professional, friendly receptionist (Cassie - who remembered our name from our enquiries when booking by telephone weeks ago!) we were made to feel welcome & valued as guests. We were thrilled when we opened the door of our room ( 141). It was spacious ( with small balcony with furniture), immaculately clean with a lovely bathroom. The bed was large & so comfortable, we both slept very well indeed. I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel to anyone.

    Unfortunately we were disappointed with this hotel. Firstly the lift was out of action and no one to help with luggage. The room was quite small. The toilet seat was broken, this was repaired 2 days later. The floorboards at the bottom corner of the bed had broken making a very load squeaking noise! I think The Feathers Hotel looked run down overall. Such a shame as it was a perfect location.
