As a solo traveller safety and feeding comfortable is essential. Jacqueline made my experience here exactly what I need. Comfortable, well laid out, clean and safe room and venue. She was available for any questions. Also the steak pie and chips was fantastic. Highly recommended

Missed any indication that pub was closed on Monday. No tv remote or WiFi instructions. Bed comfy. Good towels. Shower slow to drain. Otherwise, fine.

Got there and it was shut (8pm Monday) darkness. Just managed to get in as a man living (ot working there) sorted it, wouldn't normally leave a negative review but noone was in touch in the day or even since.
Think I had been moved hotels due to a broken lock but not told. I'd not have even been that bothered had I been communicated with
